Kaykov TV has released two more short clips from its upcoming interview with Ruthie Leviev-Yelizarov, a daughter of the businessman and philanthropist Lev Leviev. In one she addresses how people imagine life in a wealthy family. In the other she explains how she understands the idea of the Jews as a chosen people. The full conversation with host Roman Kaykov has not yet aired. It premieres Monday, Oct. 26, at 12 p.m. on the channel, according to the clips’ descriptions.

“Just like you”

The first clip was released Thursday, Oct. 22.

“People think that we are like spoiled princesses,” she says, according to the clip’s audio. She tells Kaykov that, as followers of her Instagram can see, “I cook at home,” and that “we take our kids to school back and forth.” She says she has nothing against families with many nannies, and that she always had nannies herself, but adds: “We are very, very like just like you and like everybody else.”

The channel’s description says she “challenges that stereotype,” pointing to “cooking at home to raising seven children and managing everyday family responsibilities.”

“A job which is made for you”

In the second clip, released Friday, Oct. 23, she describes how she answers people in Israel who ask about the phrase “the chosen nation” and “who do you think you are?”

She compares it to Israel’s army, where one unit is known as the top. That does not mean its soldiers say, “We are better than everybody else,” she says. Instead, “you have a job which is made for you, that only you get trained for.” The channel’s description sums up her view: being chosen “doesn’t mean being better than anyone else,” but “having a unique responsibility and a purpose.”

The full episode

The channel’s listing for the episode, “Ruthie Leviev-Yelizarov: Marriage, Faith, Family & the Leviev Legacy,” describes her as a marriage counselor, author, podcast host and mother of seven. It says the conversation covers growing up in the Leviev family, Jewish identity and Bukharian traditions, marriage, raising children and faith. Bukharian Jewish Post covered an earlier clip from the interview, “Money was never the issue,” on Oct. 22.

Quotations are taken from the clips’ audio, as rendered by YouTube’s automatic transcript, and from the channel’s descriptions.
