A new kosher Bukharian restaurant, Anor, is serving traditional Central Asian Jewish dishes in Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv’s oldest neighborhoods. The kosher dining site YeahThatsKosher reported on Oct. 15, 2026, that the restaurant had opened about two months earlier at 8 HaShachar Street, under the kosher supervision of the Tel Aviv Rabbinate.
The kitchen is led by chef Yoram Savi, who works from Bukharian recipes passed down through generations, according to the report. Anor describes its approach as a contemporary interpretation of those dishes that keeps the cuisine’s flavors and its tradition of hospitality. The restaurant’s Hebrew-language website confirms the chef and the Neve Tzedek address and says the restaurant is set in the neighborhood’s historic buildings.

Events and Friday food
Anor hosts private and business events, with a private room for up to 60 guests and the full restaurant for up to 100, with menus planned with the chef, YeahThatsKosher reported. Delivery orders and gift cards are also available. The restaurant’s website also announces a Friday service, marked “coming soon,” offering home-style Bukharian food ready for pickup before Shabbat.
The address previously housed Ewa Safi, a kosher Moroccan meat restaurant that opened in 2017, according to YeahThatsKosher.
